Scraper
Multi-Chat Monitoring
Sentinel AI monitors multiple Telegram groups and channels simultaneously, giving you comprehensive coverage of the Solana alpha ecosystem.
Supported Sources
Telegram Groups
Monitor any Telegram group you're a member of:
- Text messages: All messages in configured groups
- Voice messages: Audio messages are transcribed and analyzed
- Media: Images and files are scanned for embedded CAs
- Pinned messages: Tracked for important announcements
Telegram Channels
Monitor public and private channels:
- Channel posts: Announcements, calls, and updates
- Media posts: Images and files with potential CAs
- Forwarded messages: Content forwarded from other sources
Adding Chats to Monitor
- Click the Sentinel Extension icon in Chrome
- Click Chats
- Paste the Telegram chat link (e.g.,
https://t.me/groupname) - Configure keywords for that specific chat (optional)
- The chat will begin being monitored on next scraper cycle
You can add as many chats as you need. Each chat can have its own keyword configuration.
Chat Configuration
For each monitored chat, you can configure:
- CA Keywords: Specific terms that trigger CA detection (configured in
chats_config.json) - Enable/Disable: Toggle monitoring without removing the chat
- Priority: Higher priority chats get processed first
The configuration is stored in chats_config.json and synced between the Extension and scraper via the config server.
Best Practices
- Start focused. Begin with 5 to 10 high-quality alpha groups rather than hundreds of noise-heavy chats.
- Configure keywords carefully. Good keyword configuration dramatically reduces false positives.
- Monitor the callers. Track groups where known callers post, not just any crypto group.
- Review regularly. Remove inactive or low-quality sources periodically.
- Keep the scraper running. Sentinel only detects CAs while the scraper process is active.
