Trading Terminal

First Steps

This page takes you from sign-in to your first trade.

Open the terminal at app.sentinelai.bot and sign in with your Sentinel account. Enter your email or username and your password.

Wallet sign-in is shown on the sign-in page but is not available yet.

Set up a wallet

Open Wallets. You have three ways to add one:

ActionWhat it does
Connect AdapterConnects Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or Glow
Import KeyImports a base58 private key as a trading wallet
New WalletGenerates a new trading wallet, with an optional address prefix of up to four characters

Use a dedicated wallet for trading. Do not import the wallet that holds your main funds.

Read Wallets and security before you import a key. It explains how keys are held.

Deposit

  1. Click Deposit in the header. It opens the Wallets screen.
  2. Click Receive on the wallet you want to fund.
  3. Copy the address or scan the QR code.
  4. Send SOL or any SPL token to that address.

Send on the Solana network only. Assets sent from other chains are lost.

Choose your active wallet

One wallet trades at a time. It is the Active wallet. To change it, open the row menu next to a wallet and choose Make Active. You can also pick the wallet in the trade panel on a token page.

Pick an execution preset

The header shows your active preset: P1, P2 or P3. P2 is the default. A preset sets slippage, priority fee, bribe and MEV protection for your trades.

Check the preset before you trade. See Trading settings and presets.

Place your first trade

  1. Find a token on the Action board, the Feed, or with the search field.
  2. Open the token page.
  3. In the trade panel, stay on Buy and Market.
  4. Choose an amount: 0.1, 0.5, 1 or 2 SOL, or type your own.
  5. Click Buy.

A notification confirms the fill. The position then appears under Positions.

The Buy button on an Action board row is Quick Buy. It buys at once, with the Quick buy amount of your active preset, and no confirmation step. Check your preset first.

Sell

Open Positions. Each open position has sell buttons for 10%, 25%, 50% and 100% of the position at market, and a Close button that sells all of it. See Positions.
